This VG8 pedalboard has been used extensively for numerous tours
and sessions especially for more experimental sounds and fxs.
Was used for guitar on all of the Stroke album 'First in, last out', sometimes
running through a Cornell Journeyman amp to warm up the outputs.
For a simple setup, running straight into a mixing desk for recording,
this is a great alternative to bringing lots of different pieces of equipment.
I've also experimented with strange tunings by pitch shifting each string
'virtually' to come up with new ideas. Easy to use and great fun.

A selection of gear used for recording the clean sounds of the Stick.
This changes quite often for different projects and will often include
the Roland VG8 for doubling the treble side.
I usually only use Compression on the bass side of the Stick with no
other fx.
For guitar i use the Sansamp PSA 1 with the Lexicon MPX G2 and a
Pearce Cabinet with an EV speaker.
This rig is also used for processing other instruments such as
Keyboards, Harmonica, Drums, Dulcimer, Vocals, just about anything
that needs a bit of dirt.
